 At
the Trattoria, in an informal and cozy atmosphere, we serve an wide
range of typical dishes from the Chianti area,
simple and at the same time traditional flavors and aromas:
Tuscan canapes, salami of "Cinta Senese" (local speciality),
Chianina beef on the grill, Chianti potroast, cheeses from Pienza,
typical Florentine "schiacciata" , and homemade cakes. The
Trattoria proposes a rich selection
at a fixed price, ideal for lunch or Sunday brunch, but also à
la carte choices.
 The
Trattoria della Fonte is a must at the re-entry from a hike through
the Chianti hills,or after a Sunday stroll in Springtime up to the
lake Buca del Granchio, savoring the view of the vineyards and surrounding
woods.
 The
fresh ingredients create dishes perfectly matching the wines from
Antinori. The chique country atmosphere and the friendly hospitality
make
the Trattoria della Fonte the ideal place for special dinners and,
but also ideal for snacks of cold cuts and cheese, or wine tastings
with samples of some ot the best food from this area.

The Restaurant will be closed in winter from November 6th to December 1st , 2006 and from January 10th to February 5th.
